Art jewelry is synonymous with hand-made, one-of-a-kind, exquisite in quality, and thoughtful intention. Since it takes long time to obtain mastery and skill in manipulating metal, many jewelers are relying heavily on machines and factories to replace human hands. My work focuses on craftsmanship. It is not that the more complicated the craftsmanship can create handmade jewelry works. Handmade jewelry is made by artists, not machinery. My work is to support real people and involves as little mechanical production as possible. Cutting is the most basic hand-production method, but there can be many changes in the production process. People can see the value of time in my work and the process that the designer focuses on.
